About Us

GREETINGS!

WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

The team at KRSA is pleased to announce that as of January 2011, we are now Southeast Alaskan owned and operated by SEA- CHRIST Broadcasting Corporation (SCBC)! What an exciting time for us and for you too! KRSA has been serving the communities of Southeast Alaska since 1982 and now our independence offers us the opportunity to continue broadcasting locally and on the internet for another 25 years and beyond.

"Casting the WORD of God to Southeast Alaska"
This phrase is our driving force!

THAT which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which w
e have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2) the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3) that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.   (1John 1:1-3)

It is hard to contain within ourselves how important having a meaningful, trusting relationship with our Lord God is; how it has changed our lives and can change yours too. We want to share that experience with as many folks as we can! Not tell everyone how to live, but to be a witness to God’s living Word as we’ve experienced in our daily lives.

There are so many world changes happening daily, that it is easy to be consumed with worry, fear, and desperate temptations as we wonder “what’s next? –who’s next?”  Isn’t it reassuring to know that God has our back? To know that He has equipped us with His infallible Word! And therefore, we believe it is our responsibility to broadcast the Word of God to as many people as possible. It is also our responsibility as Christians, at KRSA, to encourage listeners, in faith to “put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” together.

It is our desire that someone somewhere will hear just the right Word or song at the right time, which will encourage them to reach out to be embraced by God's everlasting love for us all.

A Humble Honor
It's a humble honor and a privilege to broadcast the WORD of God over the airwaves to listeners. We hope the programs of praise, worship and sound biblical teaching will reflect God's Holy Spirit positively . It is our desire and goal that the Holy Spirit may also be acknowledged and accepted by non-believers and bless them with a "new" relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Thank you for your interest in KRSA.
We hope you will tune in and be edified in what you receive!
We also thank you for your continued support!
The team at KRSA is looking forward to 2011
as a year of re-connecting with listeners as we
"Cast the Word of God to Southeast Alaska"
